Yes, this year the feast of St. Valentine has a special flavor. We celebrate with our daughter Sarah Kym , but also with the children of Francis .
Anne-Marie and Jonathan arrived Halifax last Saturday for their release. This year, as the city of Halifax are guests of the Canada Winter Games from February 11 to 27, 2011, when schools are closed for the same period.
We highlighted the celebration of love this afternoon with the children. Francis braved the storm this morning to go to the florist. He came back with beautiful flowers for each girl in the house. Here's the beautiful bouquet of flowers
Who says Valentine's Day chocolate said. So I bought different kinds of chocolate bars to the delight of all as well as "fruit to go" and fruit snacks for Jonathan . He was really happy.
Me and Anne Marie have tested our skills range. We made a cake with fondant. It was the first time I tried to make a fondant and it was a success. Here is the result of our work:
